Beneath
Tunnel Falls, Tunnel Falls Trail, Cascade Locks, Oregon, United States.
Truly a sight to behold, Tunnel Falls is unlike any waterfall I've ever seen. The waterfall itself is gorgeous; a classic straight chute of powerful water dropping more than 160 feet, but what makes this waterfall so special is actually what's behind it. A tunnel behind the falls, blasted there by trail builders in the early 1900s, gives this waterfall its name and its notoriety. It also makes for a fun hike and a great place to cool off on a hot day!
